Strip Search Podcast, Episode 6 - LIVE from the Boston Kids Comics Fest

Dave and Pete enjoy the best of the fest.  So it turns out we really SHOULD get out of the house more! We headed out this past weekend to the first-ever Boston Kids Comics Fest , held April 28, 2018, in Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood. There we were welcomed by the fest's founders and co-planners Jonathan Todd (our guest last month on Strip Search ) and Medfield librarian and all-around gracious host Meena Jain. It was an amazing (and crowded!) event, and we had the chance to talk to several of those attending and volunteering, including: Natick seventh graders Rosemary Iwakura and Iliana Haynes Volunteer and comics writer Zachary Clemente Anson Richman, a young comics fan from Wellesley Volunteer Jerzy Prachniak Volunteer and library teacher Elizabeth Halley Snippets from "Marty Pants" author Mark Parisi, "Strange Fruit" author Joel Christian Gill, and fest coordinator Jonathan Todd You can listen to the podcast below.
