Jonathan Todd has a lot going on -- the Boston-area illustrator and cartoonist is about to publish his first graphic novel, "Timid," and is in the midst of planning the first-ever Boston Kids Comics Fest , to be held April 28 in Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood. Plus he's a dad, so you know he doesn't get a lot of free time as it is. We sat down with Jonathan to discuss that very fest -- where you'll be able to find us recording our April podcast, along with a stellar array of festival guests including Strip Search guest Mark Parisi , Brendan Tobin , Emily Ettlinger and Braden Lamb . We also talked about Jonathan's own work, including his serialized comic strip " Cecil's World ," which gave birth to his upcoming graphic novel "Timid." Listen to our podcast below, and we hope to see you in April at the Boston Kids Comics Fest! (Meanwhile, don't forget to visit our partner in cartooning, Comic Strip Cartoonist magazine.)
